Hotel and travel information for GEPON Workshop

March 22-24, 2006

We are pleased to be able to cover transportation and lodging expenses for those attending this workshop.  

If you have not already done so please confirm your attendance by 5:00 pm, Monday, March 6. You may respond to Hildy Kane by email or telephone 303-497-2656.  

Air reservations:
For those out of state travelers, your air r eservations should be booked through Boulder Travel at 800-336-0380 or 303-443-0380. Please ask for travel agent Kris Marwitz. Once you select your flight itinerary, Kris will contact Hildy Kane, at DPC, for authorization to book your ticket.

Lodging:
For those out of state travelers, lodging will be provided at the Hotel Boulderado. Please call them directly, no later than March 13, to confirm your reservation at 800-433-4344. Please identify yourself as part of the "GEPON workshop”. Your lodging will be a direct bill arrangement to UCAR for the nights of March 22, 23 and 24; however, any incidentals or extra nights are at your expense. We will provide per diem for your travel days only. For additional information please refer to www.Boulderado.com.  

Transportation:
We will provide a UCAR van for transportation while you are in Boulder , which includes to/from the hotel, workshop location and Thursday dinner. We ask out of state travelers to use the Super Shuttle to travel to/from Boulder and DIA. We will reimburse you for the round trip cost of using Super Shuttle Boulder – no other mileage, parking, etc. expenses will be reimbursed. Workshop location/laptops:
The workshop location is at the UNAVCO campus, 6350 Nautilus Drive in Boulder . Please note that this location is equipped with wireless capabilities if you bring a laptop.

Meals/breaks:
On Wednesday we will have a Working Reception at the Hotel Boulderado beginning at 6:00 pm. A light buffet and drinks will be served. On Thursday and Friday, breakfast and lunch will be provided at UNAVCO and coffee/tea service will be refreshed throughout the day.  In addition, a mid-morning and afternoon break will be served. On Thursday, please plan to attend the workshop dinner at Laudisio Ristorante. Please contact Hildy Kane if you have any dietary restrictions.
